Real-time Collaboration Is Here
After weeks of late nights, broken blueprints, and network gremlins, replication is finally working in KitBatch, which means you can now build together in shared online rooms!
This is a huge milestone for us. From the start, KitBatch was built to be a creative sandbox where you could kitbash anything, from chunky mechs to cursed furniture, using pure imagination and VR physics. But as much fun as it is solo, we always knew the real magic would happen when players could co-create in real time.
Now, that’s a reality.
🛠️ How It Works
Players can now:
Host a room from inside the game (you’re the server)
Invite friends to join directly (or through connection codes)
See each other in real time—head, hands, and all
Grab, move, and assemble parts together with full replication
Use voice chat for shouting “WAIT DON'T DELETE THAT” mid-creation
There's still lots of bugs to fix, but this is an important step towards a playable beta, we will release a roadmap at the end of this month with projections on where we are at and how we plan to get there. Regardless, we are going to create something amazing together!
